There are more than 150 medical schools in the U.S., but to this day, two HBCUs, Howard & Meharry medical schools, still produce the MOST Black physicians. It’s past time for PWIs to step up & commit to educating a diverse workforce. HBCUs can’t continue to do the heavy lifting.

Worry less about your outfit, focus more on mastering what you bring to the table. I wore the same blazer and button up for every interview☺️

Before your interview… Be a detective and find out “personal info” about your interviewer ✍🏾💼 (It’ll help guide your interview and calm your nerves😉) Ie. One of my interviewers was from Chicago at a program out of state. I made mention and we talked about Chicago food.

@julianachaveso Hey! All you need is a solid 2-3 max. Interview season can get very draining. Trust you’ll get better and better with each interview. Don’t use all your stamina on mock interviews☺️
