@ace_m82 @TRHLofficial If you think the Torah is just something you can read and fully understand, you’re missing so much. But you do you.

You know what’s not in the Bible? “Bless Israel and you will be blessed, curse Israel and you will be cursed.”

@HowardMSklar @TRHLofficial I care what the author (God) said, not what some random Rabbi said. The author explained it clearly. Read Deuteronomy 28 for more about what these blessings actually entailed.

@ace_m82 @TRHLofficial If you don’t learn Torah with Rashi, you’re not learning Torah. You’re reading it like a book, where you can understand it by what it says. The Torah isn’t like that. If you don’t care what the commentators say, you’re not interested it truly understanding it.

@HowardMSklar @TRHLofficial No, I'm reading it as a rational reader would. You're the attorney. And I don't care what commentators said about the Scripture. I care what the Scripture itself says. I do like this bit though, "You’re reading it too literally, and not literally enough." How's that possible?

@ace_m82 @TRHLofficial If you’re reading it as an attorney, you’re reading it wrong. And no, it’s not talking about Abraham. You’re reading it too literally, and not literally enough. And you’re not looking at the Midrashim. Or meforshim.

@82airbornebilly @ComicDaveSmith ...While the B52s are flying there, during a war, when they're already targeting civilian infrastructure and buildings, after blowing up a girl's school? Color me unconvinced!

He didn’t mean the civilians. The Iranian regime doesn’t even care about their own civilians so why would anyone think to use that as a threat. To the regime, the “entire civilization “ means their own existence. It doesn’t relate at all to anyone else. To them the regime is the only thing that matters.

@HammerofJudea @ComicDaveSmith Commandment 9 is "Don't bear false testimony". You've broken it. You can't argue with what he says, so you make up nonsense and accuse. God will judge you.

@ComicDaveSmith Dave Smith would have made the ideal capo during the Holocaust. Complete self-hatred, a sadistic dislike for his own people, and a malevolent streak. A weasel eager to be loved and capable of doing anything to save his spineless skin.

@HowardMSklar @TRHLofficial Oh, I understand it really well. I know the guy who wrote it! Read Genesis 12 carefully. The subject remains Abraham, even after he mentions being turned into a nation. An attorney should recognize that...

@jewboi223 @kbalian90 I did no such thing. Evil people claimed to be Christ followers and did the opposite of what he said. Matthew 7:21-23 He already came, and you've rejected him! Romans 11

@HowardMSklar @TRHLofficial That's not at all what Genesis 12 says though. Every promise is to Abraham, and the subject never changes to the nation God would make him into. That's reading into the text what is obviously not there.

@ace_m82 @TRHLofficial Assuming it was Lech Lecha, then it still applies to the Jews to be. Meaning, G-d was telling Abraham that He would create a nation of Abraham’s descendants. And whoever blessed that nation would be blessed.

@ace_m82 @TRHLofficial I don’t know about the Eliyahu passage. I agree with you that Bilaam was blessing the Jews. TRHL said it wasn’t about the Jews, it was about Abraham. I didn’t understand that.

@kbalian90 Zechariah 9:9: The King riding on the donkey is righteous and has salvation. Zechariah 12:10: The Messiah suffers for us. Daniel 9: The time of Jesus' birth is predicted. Psalm 110:1: The Lord speaks to "my Lord", not merely the descendant of David.

@kbalian90 They don't know their own Scripture well: Isaiah 53: The Messiah pays for Israel's sins. Psalm 22: He's crucified. Isaiah 7:14: The virgin gave birth and his name is "God with us". Daniel 7:13-14: Son of Man is given power over all the Earth, presented as the LORD.

@HowardMSklar @TRHLofficial Correct, it wasn't a state. Therefore, the passage about blessing Israel is about the nation (the Jews), not a state. And Elijah said it wouldn't rain for 3 years. Seems like a curse to me...

@ace_m82 @TRHLofficial At the time of that passage, there was no State of Israel. It was the Jews that he was referring to. But without a State. But Bilaam was saying that whoever blessed the Jews would be blessed. And vice-versa. I don’t know which episode with Eliyahu you’re referring to.

@TRHLofficial The "you" in that passage is the People of Israel, not Abraham. Where did you get that it was? You state it as a fact, but what's the source? Balak didn't hire Bilaam to curse Abraham—who had been dead for a long, long time. He hired Bilaam to curse the nation of Israel.

@TRHLofficial They need to read Leviticus 25:23 (God owns the land), Deuteronomy 28 (God will take it away if you disobey), and Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel (God does).

Let me explain. Who is “You” in the misquoted scripture? Abraham. In Romans 11, Paul explains that “descendants of Abraham” are believers in Christ, not a nationstate established by the Rothschilds in 1948. “But Josie, what if God was using the Rothschilds as a vessel to bring them back to their land?” Leviticus 26 (40-42) says further, “confess the iniquity… and my covenant with Abraham, I will remember, and I will remember the land.” The iniquity that broke the branch and drove them out, has not been confessed. The terms have not been met. The Israelites have to meet God half way to earn their land back— and the Bible says they will— and when they do, there will be mass conversions from Judaism to Christianity.
