@1no_aalsi_ Next stadiums should have roof. Which can be closed and opened with click of a button. I believe Australia has one. So we can easily extend IPL to June or July. Ye sab problem hi nahi rahega. DL method shouldn't be the way match needs to be settled.

- 100ft ka hota hai usko rakhne me problem hogi - Ye sirf England mein use hota hai Bcoz waha mausam jaldi badal jata hai - India me sirf 2 mahine Manson barish hoti hai. Tab ham cricket khelte bhi nhi hai. - India mein bahut ground hai. Jinko 4-5 saal match hi nhi milta. - Mehnga aata hai rakhe rakhe sad jayega paisa barbad hoga bas - Australia bhi use nhi karta hai

@IMManu_18 I think both won't make it to the world cup. Virat is fitter so his chances are higher. Problem is Rohit is more desperate he hasn't won it. Virat anyways has one. But Jaiswal should be opening with Gill. These players are at the peak years and are ready to explode.

@NoriSrivatsa @adityajakki People have sympathy for Karna. Because that throne belonged to him if not for his mother's mistake. All his life he was competing against his own brother. And dies at the hand of his own brother. None of this is his doing.

Karna is glorified not because people believe he is hero or good... They know he did some big sins like instigating Draupadi Vastrapaharan... They also know he paid for that in the end... Despite all this Karna is glorified for following reasons: 1. He is a classic tragic character... Always raises the question of "what if" 2. He was arguably the most powerful archer after Bheeshma... Different matter that he could never display that as he lost many battles due to lack of motivation most of the times and when he was motivated his curses kicked in and of course Madhav did what he had to 3. All this brings relativity for people because normal people are not perfect... Normal people like redemption and benefit of doubt for characters they believe deserve 2nd chances There is nothing wrong with that There is a reason why people don't relate like this with any other characters from either Mahabharatam or Ramayanam in terms of redemption or 2nd chances
Vajra@vajraTheAstra

The fact that there is glorification of Karna in Kalki movie and calling him better than ARJUN is unreal.

@Utdtruthful Clear and obvious is the biggest scam pulled on the fans. It gives VAR easy way out of any accountability. Every bad decision is justified stating it is not clear and obvious.

🚨🗣️ 𝐍𝐄𝐖: Former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher: “I think they are BOTH penalties, if you look at them, they are so similar, so on balance, give both. “It is just an unfortunate consequence - the referee [Stuart Attwell] has got the most PERFECT position, he is looking straight at it and in fairness he waved it away straight away, the ball goes up the other end and the VAR is still looking at it when the ball goes in the net. “Stuart has obviously FED back to them that it is not enough of a shrug and is not a clear and obvious ERROR, there is not enough in it and they have backed the referee”. #MUFC [Sky]

🤑 The success of the Premier League now means its top clubs are too expensive for their owners to find buyers. Nobody is buying Chelsea for £4bn (their break even), nobody is buying Spurs for £3bn, nobody is buying United for £5bn. All stuck - new minorities the best hope. It means that fans can protest but ultimately it’s irrelevant. Forthcoming economic environment plus higher for longer interest rates makes it even harder and refinancing much more expensive than envisaged just 3 months ago.

@sistoney67 People want right decision to be made. And speed up the time it takes to make decision. With today's technology it shouldn't be that hard. Instead VAR hide behind clear and obvious. Rules itself needs to rewritten for VAR age. And the game needs to move towards more accuracy.

Debate around VAR last night misses the point really. In general fans want less of it, so understandable in debatable calls, it stays out. The inconsistency is referee on-pitch. I guess he would argue Maguire was deliberately attempting to impede and Amad went down under minimal contact. Easy to see why others argue differently. Ref is the guy whose decision counts. Course if players from every club didn’t constantly maximise contact, it would be easier for refs but that is another discussion.

You know why teams like Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians have such a huge fan base and are so successful? It’s because of their loyalty towards their players. They keep their core players with them till the end because they know the fan base gets emotionally connected with them. Whether the players perform or not, that belief in them gives the players confidence, and that confidence eventually helps the team win titles. Every team should learn from CSK and Mumbai Indians how to stay loyal to their players. Similarly, Rajasthan Royals left the heart and soul of their team — Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler. They were the pillars of the team, and the fan base revolved around these two guys. Yet the franchise decided to let them go in the name of “transition.”

@belongs2raghu T20 gets played over by over and ball by ball. If you are not a good captain it is virtually impossible to win the tournament. Test and to certain extent one day head coach can manage from dug out. With t20 u have to keep making decision.

Somehow, India winning with SKY as captain has led to takes like, “See, this is why captaincy isn’t important.” It assumes SKY is a poor captain and that the team has won despite him. That premise itself is flawed. In reality, he has been excellent with his decision making

@P4BL0G4V1_ Only tactically sound captain can win t20 world cups. You live over by over and once u enter the field you are on your own. Need to know your bowlers really well. Use them very efficiently proactive on the pitch. Test cricket can easily be managed from dug out. So is one day.

ICC trophy winning captains are immortalised and remembered forever in this sport because of the value they hold. with today's win, Suryakumar Yadav has entered a very elite group in cricketing folklore irrespective of whether RCB fans think he's handsome, has six pack or not.

@Lucaciao26 @KhalidBaig85 With all due respect ODI is a dead format will cease to exist soon. No one is spending entire day on a cricket match. T20 will be the future whether purists like it or not. 80 crore was streaming number yesterday. Ultimately it's viewers who determine which format should stay.

@KhalidBaig85 Comparing this run to the Aussies run from 1999 to 2009 is crazy. They won 3 ODI WCs and a Champions Trophy too. T20 WC is a third grade tournament and is in no way at par with an ODI WC. Even WTC ranks higher than this so called WC that occurs every 1.5-2 years.

1. It's time he retires, Ravi Shastri 2. I was wrong, GG is a good Coach in the T20 and ODI Format 3. India should try a different Coach for Tests, we need the same excellence as a Test Team, we are sadly not making it to the 2027 WTC Final 4. If Surya performs as a batsman in 2026 and 2027, then give him the honor of leading India in the 2028 LA Olympics and 2028 T20 World Cup in Aus/NZ, otherwise time to groom a new captain from Jan 1st,2027 5. Indian Men's Team has now won the 2024 T20 WC, 2025 ODI Champions Trophy, 2026 T20 WC 6. In White Ball Cricket, India is witnessing the supremacy which the GOAT Aussie team showed from 1999 to 2009 7. For India, to maintain that invincible run,we need a back up of 3 to 4 fast bowlers, so that all the load is not on Bumrah and Arshdeep 8. Axar and Hardik are gold, class all rounders 9. 2 more all rounders like them in the coming years, should be the goal, going forward 10. Let's keep chasing excellence

@VasukiTweets @KhalidBaig85 First of all it will take time to get back in test cricket. He needs to replace 5 to 6 players and it will take time no matter who the coach is. Rohit dropped himself from last few tests before retirement. Kohli doesn't want to stay away from family for months.

@ask0704 Ahmedabad getting marquee matches has got nothing to do with cricket. It gets the matches because the BCCI boss, the PM HM have stakes there. It has been shoved on people to accept it as the cricketing centre of India, when it’s not. Finals should be held in Eden or Wankhede.

This is such a strange argument. A sporting culture that didn’t give Jasprit Bumrah? The captain of that Gujarat Ranji team - Axar played most of his Ranji cricket in Ahmedabad. Sunny’s 10000th run, Kapil’s 432nd record breaker, Sachin’s 1st ever 200 all happened in a’bad. Saw the last one live in the stadium.
Krishna Anand@KrishnaAnand_

Ahmedabad is not a sporting city, it never has been. That’s why every time there’s a final played there, more than 50% crowd is from outside the city. There’s no sporting culture, vibe. Just making the largest stadium might bring you gate revenues but it doesn’t bring you support or success for India.

@APTalksCricket A captain should be judged on does the player respects him. Do they follow his instructions. Is the environment in the dressing room is excellent. Is he tactically smart enough and bold enough. Surya passes with distinction in all these metrics. Rest doesn't matter.

I don't get the whole "aura" debate on the internet. I know SKY has a funny bone that's active 24/7. That doesn't mean he lacks aura, is a bad captain, or doesn't deserve to win. People also forget that India hasn't lost a single series under surya yet.

@Shreyanshvirat @chasemasterspod That collapse happened because the coach and captain were scrambling to figure out no.4 until very last minute. It is your job to build a team which is ready for all eventuality. There is a reason for that collapse. Over dependency on Kohli and Sharma was the root cause of that.

@hitesh_1117 @Prithvi10_ What he says is absolutely correct. Too much dependency on individual players ruined us. Remember 2019 world cup when Kohli and Sharma got out early we had no number 4 batsmen to consolidate. In 4 years we couldn't get a middle order batsmen scrambling at the last minute.

Supporting another team isn’t anti national, just like not supporting our own team doesn’t automatically make someone unpatriotic. But wishing for a loss simply because the captain isn’t media trained or doesn’t give the usual generic responses makes little sense. At least be honest about the reasoning. You become a fan of a team because of how they play, not because of what they say in interviews. And honestly, him saying they wanted to bat first anyway might even have given them the confidence that helped them put up 250 in the last game.

Let’s be clear — no Indian hates Team India. The frustration is with Gautam Gambhir and SKY, and it’s coming from a place of love for this sport. No one wants to punish cricketers who’ve poured their soul into the game. No one wants heartbreak for millions of fans. We want the Tiranga soaring. 🇮🇳 Today, the heart believes. The mind says regardless of the result, we stand by our team. But GG and SKY’s time in Indian cricket must end — the result today changes nothing about that.

India has been a good T20 team from past few years but there’s one thing that stands out after @GautamGambhir became the Head Coach. Even if the team ends up on the negative side of result, players don’t change their character or the game plan. Gambhir has given 100% backing to his lads to play their natural game and stick to the plan. Out-of-form players are backed to the core and in-form players put their weight behind those who are struggling. The environment inside the dressing room, inside the bus, at practise sessions and during matches is always lively and full of energy. This, in my view, is GG’s biggest value addition to India’s T20 cricket.
