You’re confusing moral courage with bloodlust. Jesus rebuked the powerful and defended the vulnerable. He did not endorse wiping out whole populations. Using scripture to excuse mass killing is a betrayal of the Gospel, not a defense of it.

@JoshLipnik When buying our house in NW Detroit I asked our realtor what they knew about the yard lamps. He said it was door-to-door salesmen in the 70s selling the idea that more light on your property helps with safety. Not sure if that’s 100% true but sounds plausible enough.
