@grobelaar I've just read his biog, and it's 100% his standard operating procedure. Doesn't make any flashy promises he can't be sure of delivering on. Sort out the basics (unsexy but fundamental), then build on solid foundations. Would recommend it as a read to understand him

Everything I've heard from @Keir_Starmer's labour government has been disappointment. No ambition, no solutions, no promises to start with. But more of the same centrist capitalism is how we're up the creek to start with, so how is steady as she goes Cap'n gonna help. Do better.
