Meet Damilola Bolarinde, Miss Lagos, who was crowned Face of Hope 2026. She will represent Nigeria at Miss International Nigeria 2026. Congratulations 🥳
Just a few years back, Yoruba women were being replaced at beauty pageants and rigged out. Non-Yoruba women were used to represent Yoruba states, even when Yoruba women could do much better than the level of beauty they were being replaced with. It was used to push a certain social re-engineering. Yoruba women were being slandered despite the women not even being Yoruba.
Thank God for the Yoruba conservatism movement, which brought awareness to it, and we raised our voices to fight against it. Today we live in a new reality. Special thanks to @observinqs; she is the one who alerted us to the situation after observing it for years. God bless all the Yoruba ronus/conservatives/nationalists for your efforts.

@og_beeping101 I don't care anywhere she's from in as much she's a Yoruba lady I'm fine with it.
