The people who might struggle to get IDs weren't going to vote anyway.

I support vacancy taxes (or better: land value tax), which would help vacant properties move back onto the market quicker. This wouldn't be sufficient to fix the UK's housing shortage though, and it's counter-productive to pretend otherwise.

Like, the problem with venture capital in this country isn't that we have too much of it, it's that we have too little. We need more venture capital outside of our superstar cities, not less of it everywhere because some people don't like the vibes or don't know what they do.

I get why this is an applause line but venture capital plays a very useful role in the economy. They channel resources to promising new ideas, even at considerable financial risk, and thereby promote innovation. They are part and parcel of American entrepreneurial capitalism.

It would be really helpful if someone was pushing to legalize mobile home parks are reasonable densities everywhere residential is allowed.
Our current zoning too often means that working class residents have no options to site a home on a small affordable plot.
