@allafarce on the face of it, sounds like a ridiculous policy that probably had well-intentioned roots.

I have come to believe this law (PRA) should broadly be repealed—or *substantially* changed by Congress—and that a significant factor in why it has not is the constituency that the existence of this workload created.

@allafarce I had no idea these stats existed. So not only is it administratively challenging to apply for SNAP, there’s a chance they’ll deny you in error even if you can get through the application process? Why have I never seen this before? Good for them for collecting and sharing data

@AndreyOstrovsky Just had surgery myself and I COULD NOT AGREE MORE. Maybe we should start a service to do this. I'm serious.

2 weeks post op key insight: really wish I had a peer group, CHW, or navigator to go through this experience with, ask questions, commiserate with. Feel like peers could have made it a less lonely/more productive journey. Peers should be part of post-op bundles
