Today, @ericjubber is joining @naturalpay's engineering team from Superpower. When I came out of YC at 23, I spent three months recruiting our first engineer. Not because we lacked candidates, but because the bar was uncompromising: founder mentality, deeply technical, and wired for the 0 to 1 intensity. That person was Eric. In 2021, we learned payments the hard way. Back when “documentation” meant flipping through Payments Systems in the U.S. and digging through Stack Overflow threads to piece together how scalable systems actually moved money.
