@EAEisenhauer @jgordonboyd @cityofkingston We went to advanced polls last week and there was a 2 hour wait when we went too - almost all students.

@aidanpucchio @jgordonboyd @cityofkingston We need to do better job and I know pandemic complicated things in terms of getting polling staff. with 4 days of advance polls we could advertise those better! When I voted on 13th polling station fully staffed and only me & husband there for the time it took to vote!

Voting in @cityofkingston was prohibitively challenging. 2 total tables for our station, huge wait, extremely challenging for us to figure out what polling station to go. Losing student polling stations is a huge loss. #Elxn44

@aidanpucchio It’s SUCH a Canadian thing. We just get down to business — in this case he only wanted to know what beer I wanted, not how I was. It’s totally weird to try the “how are you” or “how’s it going” thing in the UK

I think I’ve been in Canada too long. Went up to the Spoons bar at Heathrow Airport and opened with “how are you?” The guy was completely nonplussed
