I cried my eyes out last night. Honestly, if I had known marriage would feel like this, I might never have agreed to it. I’m currently six months pregnant with our first child, and it feels like my husband is making things even harder for me. He gave me ₦400k for baby items, but everything on my list is over ₦2 million just basic necessities. I know he’s trying his best, but the money isn’t enough, and I’m feeling overwhelmed. I genuinely don’t know where to start or what to do next. I really need sincere advice.

My friend asked me to lend her 10k. I tried to transfer from my bank app but it kept reversing. Because I was busy, I gave her my ATM to go withdraw at a POS across the street... Next thing I received a debit alert of 30k... She came back smiling and said "babe you get money ooooo.... Abeg na 30k I withdraw.... That's the actual amount I need... I go pay you" I was infuriated and asked her why she checked my account balance and even withdrew more than she asked for... We had an argument and next thing she threw the entire money on my table and left.... Please did I do anything wrong questioning why she checked my account balance and took more than she asked for???

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 5 years. He’s 36. From day one, he promised me marriage and said I’m the one who will mother his children. Because of that, I gave him everything. For 4 years, I’ve basically become his house help. I spend weekends (and some weekdays) at his place washing his heavy clothes by hand, scrubbing floors, and cooking soups to stock his freezer. I even travel to his village every planting and harvest season to work on his mother’s farm under the hot sun, just to prove I’m “wife material.” Yesterday broke me 💔. After washing a mountain of clothes and cooking until my body ached, my mum called needing urgent help. I told him I’d return the next day to iron, but he got angry and called me lazy. He said I’m not ready for marriage because I couldn’t iron after everything I’d done. He showed no concern for my tiredness or my mum’s needs. Now planting season is here again. I told him I can’t travel because I have a professional exam I’ve already paid for, my future is on the line. He said if I don’t go, I should forget the relationship. He called me weak, disrespectful, and not “submissive” enough to be a wife. I’m tired. I feel like a servant, not a partner. But I’m 28 and have given him 5 years of my life. Starting over scares me. How do I make him change, or is it time to walk away after everything I’ve invested? 😔

I call all Christians to Islam, because Islam is the only true religion in the sight of Allah. We believe in one God alone, eternal, self sufficient. He does not drink, He does not eat, He does not sleep. He has no wife, no son, and no partner. He is not three, nor is He a man who was breastfed, used the toilet, showered, or prayed to another. That is the God of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. Jesus himself worshipped that God. So worship Allah alone, the same God Jesus worshipped. There is no god but Allah.

My relationship is about to end! Please I need serious help.. I only watch this in the movie but never expected to witness it myself. I once slept with my boyfriend's father when I was in school.. He was the sugar daddy that sponsored me mostly in school. I swear I didn't know he was his father. I broke up with him when I met his son and we had no issues with that.. Fast-forward to recently, he introduced me his father's picture and I was shocked.. I have been scared since that day, I don't know if I should tell him about my past or let him find out himself.. I love him and I don't want to lose him. We will be going to his dad's birthday party on Sunday.. Please tell me what to do?

I’m honestly not thinking straight right now… I feel like walking away from my marriage. Last week, my husband insulted me publicly, called me senseless. This isn’t the first time, and I kept quiet out of respect. Since that day, I decided to just stay on my own… but things have only gotten worse. He hasn’t given me money for feeding. For Easter, I used my own money to buy foodstuff and cook. He refused to eat the food — it’s just me and my children eating it. Because I was low on cash, I decided to take from my piggy savings, planning to replace it later. To my greatest shock… it was EMPTY. My husband had taken all the money without telling me. This is the same savings he encouraged me to start, advising against joining a yearly ajo (akawo) with my colleague because he claimed they might run away with my money. Now he’s the one doing exactly that to me… and still acts like he’s right. I’m honestly tired and frustrated. I don’t even know what to do anymore. Pls give her advice, she will be in the cs

The Christians in Nigeria, in order to survive and thrive, must: 1. Declare an independent Christian state. 2. Ally with the State of Israel, establishing a sister-state agreement with it in all fields. 3. Build a military similar to the IDF in power and determination, with Israel's assistance. A military that will strike with immense force in the way Israel operates against anyone who dares to try to continue exterminating them.

Olisa Metuh’s Appointment into Tinubu’s 2027 Campaign: A Painful One for Me as Someone Who Wants Tinubu Defeated I won’t lie… this one hurts a bit from an opposition-to-Tinubu-2027 standpoint. (1) Since Olisa Metuh was appointed as Director of Organisation and Mobilisation for Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope campaign, I have been tagged in more than 100 different posts. (2) The truth is that such an appointment is a masterstroke for the Tinubu camp, I must state. (3) Olisa Metuh was not just a spokesperson while in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); he was deeply impactful in shaping both the internal and external strategies that sustained the party. He was the longest-serving NWC member of the party. He understood messaging, pressure politics, and narrative control in a way very few did. (4) Many have argued and I agree that if Metuh had not been relegated from strategic planning under Goodluck Jonathan ahead of the 2015 elections, the outcome may have been different. (5) When the PDP lost the 2015 election and Muhammadu Buhari emerged, many in the PDP were reaching out to join Buhari—but not Metuh. He started strategising on how to get the PDP back to power in 2019 by denying Buhari a second term. (6) Metuh, a known strategist, began the “Stop Buhari 2019” project as early as 2015, when many were still afraid of Buhari. He led some of the most constructive, issue-based opposition engagements against the Buhari government. (7) He identified individuals even within the APC, that the PDP would need to regain power by 2019 and began reaching out to them. (8) Metuh’s strategy contributed to the PDP securing the Deputy Senate Presidency alongside Senate President Bukola Saraki, against the wishes of the APC-led government in a majority APC Senate. It also influenced the leadership outcome of the House of Representatives in 2015. (9) He played a role in bringing Atiku Abubakar back to the PDP to fly the party’s ticket with a South-East running mate in 2019. While Metuh was working to reposition the PDP, the Buhari-led APC became uncomfortable. He was reportedly approached for a deal, but he insisted on rebuilding the PDP. (10) The next move, as many believe, was decided in Aso Rock: “Get Metuh out or forget 2019.” Then the Buhari government went after him with intense media trials. Many Nigerians believed the narrative, with some even accepting that a former investment lawyer, who never held any government position outside Political party leadership was the problem of Nigeria. (11) There is a strong school of thought that the arrest and prolonged media trial of Metuh by the Buhari administration was not just a legal action or anti-corruption effort, but part of a broader regime-protection strategy. (12) There is no doubt that the arrest of Metuh At the time, he had begun re-engaging and strategising for a PDP comeback messed PDP up. (13) By the time the Buhari-led APC was done with him, the PDP had already lost the 2019 battle before it even fully began and the decline continued. (14) Prior to his arrest, Metuh was positioned to assume the role of National Organising Secretary of the PDP at the 2017 National Convention, a position that would play key role in PDP’s comeback quest. However, he was arrested in 2016 and could not take up that position. (15) After his exit from the PDP’s strategic boardroom, the party never fully regained its footing. That is the truth. (16) Think about it: A man who never held any government office was projected as a central “problem” in Nigeria’s challenges. That, in itself, tells you how influential he was perceived to be. (17) Now, with his reported appointment into the campaign structure of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I wish to state that it was a major strategic gain for the Tinubu led APC. A painful loss for any serious opposition. On political strategy arena, Metuh has proven his value.

For over 30 years, they have lived in a room-and-parlour apartment, sharing the kitchen, toilet, and bathroom with other families, despite her ability to afford better living conditions. Now, she has started building a house on her land. However, her husband has made it clear that he will not move into it once it’s completed. She doesn’t want to lose her marriage, but she’s also tired of living in their current conditions. She’s confused and unsure of what to do. Honestly, I feel for her.

When people say “marry well,” don’t take it as casual advice, see it as a serious warning. My mum’s friend has been married for over 30 years and has 4 children. She is one of the most hardworking women I’ve ever met. She even owned land before getting married. Because she already had land, she suggested that she and her husband build a house together on it, but he refused. He said it wasn’t culturally appropriate for a man to build on land owned by his wife. She then proposed renting a better apartment since their current place was uncomfortable, but he refused again, insisting that the house was close to his shop......

I cannot marry outside Islam. Because how do I explain to a non Muslim man that it's my right to request for breastfeeding allowance and my money is my money but his money is our money? How do I explain that I'm entitled to a maid if I'm used to it in my father's house, and it's Sunnah for my husband to help with the house chores? How do I explain that my religion permits him to Islamically marry another wife instead of sleeping around and bringing diseases home? How do I explain that the man leads the woman in prayer on days that they both pray at home? How do I explain that he has to teach our children Tarbiyah and walk our sons to Masjid? How do I explain that lovemaking is an Ibaadah, not entitlement? How do I explain things that are forbidden in Islam but normal in his religion like pork and alcohol? How? Just how? To save myself from these explanations, I'd rather marry within my religion, to someone who understands all of these and will make them easier for me.

So, a guy ordered clothes worth over two hundred thousand just to surprise his girlfriend and sent them via dispatch to her address. When the rider got there, madam didn’t have ₦4k to pay for delivery and kept calling the boyfriend. Out of anger, he told the vendor to recall the rider and share the clothes among her staff. The girlfriend later found out what happened through the vendor and decided to call him out online. As usual, women are blasting him in the comment section, saying that if he could afford to spend ₦200k, why couldn’t he pay ₦4k for her?

I saw pictures of a man who allegedly killed his mother because she refused to give him money to travel abroad. He reportedly pushed her downstairs and she died from the fall. This reminded me of a friend I visited a few days ago. He was the last son of his mother, and she recently passed away after an illness. I visited him to condole and sympathize with him and his family. That night, we slept in the same room. Around 2 a.m., he woke up and prayed two raka’at before going back to bed. Before he slept, I heard him crying because he missed his mother. This is a man with five children, yet he cried deeply over the loss of his mother. I did not know what to say to him that night because he thought I was asleep, so I decided to let him cry and pour out his emotions. Maybe it gave him some relief. Sadly, somewhere else, someone took away his own mother’s life with his bare hands. SubhanAllah. May Allah grant her paradise and grant us all a good ending.

In retaliation to the ISWAP attacks that killed Nigerian Colonel I.A. Muhammad and six other soldiers in Monguno, troops destroyed and burned civilian infrastructure in the Chali 2 community of Monguno, accusing the locals of not reporting ISWAP infiltration into the town soon enough.

ISWAP claimed responsibility for the attacks that targeted the Nigerian army in Monguno, stating that they assaulted a position in the outskirts to lure out reinforcements from the main military camp and target them with IEDs, the plan went on successfully and led to the death of seven soldiers including Colonel I.A. Muhammad, the death toll has also been confirmed by the Nigerian army.
