The Jets have now hired seven head coaches since the end of the 2000 season — and with Aaron Glenn — six of them have been first-time head coaches with defensive backgrounds: Herm Edwards, Eric Mangini, Rex Ryan, Todd Bowles, Robert Saleh, and Glenn.
The lone exception: Adam Gase.

The "Jets need Davante Adams" is ridiculous to me. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I understand apprehension from Woody Johnson. You drafted Garrett Wilson 10th overall. You paid big money to Allen Lazard. You paid big money to Mike Williams. How much more do you need? Go out and win. Stop making excuses.
