@volkandkaya I didn't realise it would require all these steps.
I've mostly moved to code for my own projects now, but still have clients wanting Webflow, so looking for a good workflow.
English

@andy_hooke That workflow requires 2/3 custom format types
- Figma custom JSON
- HTML
- Webflow custom JSON
Every step increases the chance of breaking.
Ideally you would just work in HTML/Tailwind. AI is best with that tech stack.

Feels like the Webflow MCP is missing a lot of stuff that would make it useful.
It’s good for simple things like adding content, adding components, or renaming classes.
But anything beyond that it can’t seem to do.
Would love to be able to:
1. Delete things - was surprised this wasn't possible.
2. Edit component properties - I can build a page from components with a prompt, but then can only edit the content for all instances of a component. Makes it a bit pointless for anything beyond basic component use.
3. Train it on naming systems - asked it to build the page shell for Client First and got it wrong several times. Gave it a screenshot of the structure in the end and worked.
I feel like at this point, it shouldn’t be too hard to go from Figma > Webflow via MCP using Client First etc.
But doesn’t seem like it’s that simple yet?
