When you factor in the blown draft picks, Leon may have cost the Knicks a championship. And let's not forget the horrible FA signings. Especially the year he overpaid Reggie Bullock, Alec Burks, Nerlens Noel, etc. Only to have to add 2 lottery picks plus 8 second round picks to trades on draft night for cap space to sign his Godson. The 2 lottery picks could have turned into Jalen Duren and Jalen Williams. The part no one’s talking about is this regular season/playoff campaign literally makes Mikal Bridges unmovable without attaching draft picks. No front office member is going to watch this and acquire Mikal Bridges for 4 years 150 million dollars.

Finally got around to watching Knicks-Hawks Game 3. This kid Jonathan Kuminga changes the game on both ends every time he checks in. The Hawks have a serious advantage over the Knicks in the athleticism department. The second quarter ATL got whatever they wanted. Putbacks, transition, break away dunks. Lead blew up to 18. The halftime crew showed a graphic that killed this latest Knicks Twitter obsession about one of either KAT or Brunson always needing to be on the floor. Knicks +/- with only Jalen Brunson was a -6. With only KAT I believe it was +4 or something like that. 34 year old CJ McCollum is wearing Jalen Brunson out on both ends. He seems to be in better shape, because Brunson looks gassed by the 4th quarter. Nobody on the Hawks can stop KAT yet his teammates refuse to go to him. We will see if fatigue is a factor on Saturday

Trade Brunson this offseason

It feels like a broken record! The Knicks just don’t have Guards/Wings with size, shot creation and athleticism. It’s a domino effect to their style of play. Grit, effort and a 3ball only get you so far when you cant create and athletically compete!
