yes that ref has like 3.5 outfit versions which bloated the work time, but even simpler sheets take me 20 hours minimum. not because i'm particularly slow but because a ref sheet is by definition multiple drawings? so it takes a lot of time to make????

@piipstachio The way I justify these tools to myself is that if a beginner was given all these tools and tasked with making a professional illustration - they'd still fail no matter how many cheats they have on. You still need skill and experience to utilize this stuff properly

@piipstachio Smart shape isn't even a replacement for linework, I tried it out and in most cases it just gets the shape wrong and takes too long to adjust than drawing it yourself. So it's not even a "do everything for you" kind of tool, just a specialized assist for certain cases

I genuinely do not care if artists use the csp smart shape tool or use shortcuts to speed up their art process in this day and age, and i find it annoying when people get pretentious and shame artists for using the tools given to you to speedup the process.
