Tonight as Tennessee House Republicans push forward to schedule vote on our expulsion, Speaker Sexton orders the gallery cleared as crowd chants “fascists.” Media forced out at as well. Then, Rep. Lafferty (R-Knox) pushes me and grabs my phone. This is a sad day for Tennessee.

After returning from that circus, I agree there should be considerably more focus on the kid protesters in Tennessee, who took personal risk to show up in much larger numbers than a sparsely attended, top-down protest put on by a congresswoman who was immediately drowned out.

@cayla_bam My daughter has been on a public school bus since Kindergarden, is now in 3rd grade. Substitute bus drivers purposefully don't make scheduled stops.

Glenn Risbrook, exec director of the Office of Pupil Transportation, says on the PEP that there's a slight surplus of bus drivers right now, up from a 500-driver shortage at the start of this school year.
