BREAKING: After the destruction of the AN/TPY-2 early warning radar of the U.S. Army’s THAAD system at Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base in Jordan, the IRGC Aerospace Force has been able to more easily target the base with ballistic missiles, as demonstrated by last night’s attack. Footage indicates that Patriot PAC-3 air defense systems deployed to protect the base failed to intercept the incoming Iranian ballistic missiles. The exact impact points remain unclear, but the base now appears highly vulnerable—particularly with over a hundred fighter aircraft from the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, and U.S. Navy currently stationed there. #OperationEpicFury #OperationLionsRoar

@AGDugin The US needs a new political system where the motivations to be corrupted can be eliminated. Leaders should not be able to profiteer from policies (them or their families).

If you think that flying around the moon is "heroic" or a "breakthrough," you have the mind of a five-year-old. The astronauts aren't flying anything. They are tourists. Simply along for the ride. There's no reason to even have four of them. Or any of them. It's dumb. The mission would be on exactly the same trajectory without any astronauts at all. Basically they are stuck in a metal can for 10 days and functioning primarily as propagandists for a failing empire that can barely make toilets work, while their bones and brains deteriorate from a lack of gravity. Five days into this they'll probably fake some emergency to create drama for the news cycle, and to distract Americans from rising food and fuel prices. Look! Squirrel!

Has Trump NUKED the AI trade? For the last 2 years, the AI trade dominated the markets around the world. Markets treated the AI boom as an infinite game where capital could simply be converted into intelligence at scale leading to extraordinary returns. But with the current conflict in the Middle East and Trump’s latest speech doubling down on intensifying the war, the AI trade didn’t just hit a valuation ceiling; it just slammed into the laws of physics and the harsh reality of global conflict. The problem with the AI growth story is that it is held up by three critical pillars that so far (wrongly so) were assumed to be given and achievable: energy, economics, and liquidity. At this moment, they are all on brink of collapse. The Energy Wall - Compute was assumed to be infinite but we are now realizing that it survives on the grid. With the choking of critical transit corridors like the Strait of Hormuz (and possibly Bab-el-Mandeb straits soon) and the subsequent spike in energy uncertainty, these very grids are starving. When faced with the choice of powering the energy-hungry data centers or their domestic population, most Governments around the world are very likely to choose the later to prevent any socio-economic stress in their countries. Even the Trump administration made the choice (much earlier) to protect the average ratepayer rather than the Big Tech with the "Ratepayer Protection Pledge". This effectively tells the hyperscalers that they need to build their own power plants and infrastructure if they want to power their city-sized data centers. This physical bottleneck is now officially the primary bottleneck.   The ROI Reality Check - The oldest and the most important word of economics and investments RETURNS made a comeback much before the war actually started. The markets were already jittery with the massive spends outlined by the hyperscalers. This has now been compounded - as like any war, this too shall drive up energy costs leading to spikes in inflation, and keep the central banks from cutting rates. When capital stays or gets expensive, investors stop paying for vibes and rather look for the yields. The massive CapEx spending of the mega-caps was already being scrutinized under a very harsh light. This will make the conditions harsher. The Silent Liquidity Squeeze - This is where the real damage is being done. The AI ecosystem was heavily greased by private credit and Business Development Companies (BDCs) pouring money into secondary infrastructure and SaaS startups. According to the Bank for International Settlements, exposure to the software sector makes up nearly a fifth of direct loans in private credit. With geopolitical volatility spiking, institutional allocators are aggressively switching to risk-off mode. The spigot of cheap, private debt is tightening rapidly. Where does this leave the capital hungry AI companies? If they revise their capital spends downwards, what happens to the semis? And if Nvidia tightens and rolls back their forecasts, what happens to the markets? While the AI trade will survive Trump’s nuke, the era of the speculative free-ride is over. The markets will need to transition from the boom phase into a heavy industrial grind (just like the war in Middle East). The winners going forward won't be the ones with the best algorithms and big talk; they will be the ones who can actually secure the gigawatts and be very disciplined with their free cash flows to survive a prolonged period of global friction. #ai #markets #trump #war #nvidia #energy #liquidity

The good thing is @EvanWritesOnX is an excellent fiction writer - great imagination and persuasive storytelling skills - TOP CLASS. Take his stories about a TPS or any such similar shadow organisations as purely theatrical entertainment. The problem starts when one starts believing in this stories and take his financial advice. Stay away from his recommendations

How many times is this now where Brent touches 115, refuses to go above it, then shoots back down? I said this the first time it happened. Every player understands where the threshold is. Below that threshold, is Trump's volatility, where every trader understands where the profit is. Like I said on day 1. Brent will touch 115-120, then shoot back down without sustaining itself there. Managed theatre.

SMART thing for the countries around the world to do right now to prevent an economic collapse: 1. Start paying the Iranian tolls and keep the oil and gas flowing for domestic consumption 2. GCC countries should publicly distance themselves from this nonsense of a conflict and get into back room deals with Iran to prevent attacks on their infrastructures - pay them if they need to. 3. Immediately develop and scale renewable energy supplies - solar, wind, coastal, nuclear - whatever works…the world can’t be held hostage to a geriatric mad man again. All of this is the COST of allying with a superpower that unfortunately elected a MADMAN. Can’t be undone….will have to suffer the consequences. SAVE THE ECONOMIES

The next big question tonight: Tons of major news outlets reported the same information ahead of President Trump's address to the nation, sending markets sharply higher. Almost all "insider sources" signaled Trump would be "winding down" the war tonight. What just happened?
