LORETTE, DUGALD, AND AREA: A car hit a pole this morning, causing an outage for about 2,900 customers around Dugald, Glass, Lorette, and Deacons Corner. Crews are responding, but no estimated time of restoration yet.

@ScottBilleck The whiteout parties were a good example of that. Lots of folks attending who otherwise couldn't afford to go to games or just didn't want to. The area is not enjoyable anymore as it was the first few seasons. You can('t) hear it in the crowd noise alone.

The game day experience at IG Field is also something else. You don't just go for the game. Just ask the folks at The Rum Hut. Maybe not something you can recreate downtown, but surely there's a way to create something as appealing to fans.

I'm a firm believer in the mantra of if you build it, they will come. But it's not just about building a winner on the ice. It's about doing so off of it, as well.

When you get a lot of rain and the diamonds recover, but a path to the beer hut is necessary…we got you.
