Would be great to see Marco Fu in the Crucible. His cueball control is one of the best ever.

@TSnooker102 made up nonsense , defending a tittle is hard enough , lets attach a curse to it. The crucible venue change is another cringe discussion every year. 😑

Am I the only one who doesn't really care about the Crucible curse? I think it's overrated. I'd buy it if first time winners were constantly losing finals, but it's not often a first time winner is favourite to win the next year. I miss the Ding curse. Now that was a real curse.

@badazn At the gym asked Gen z to put weights back in place....I got the stare and he didn't do anything , only walked off.

I’m going to disagree with everyone here, I don’t think Generation Z is going to… “save us all.” In my experience, the majority of them are all zombies and contribute nothing. They just take, take, take, take. Waiting to see how generation alpha and beta turn out.

@TSnooker102 I've forwarded all this to Xintong's email address to help him break the curse.

Can't guarantee this will help anyone, but I'll just list here the things I've learned to be the three most important parts of the snooker technique (for me at least). I won't get into aiming, just the parts that affect your cueing. 1/x

Zhao has a real chance to become the best player ever. Can't see him becoming the greatest, but possible the best.

I think Trump v Robbo might go to a decider. Higgins will school Zhao like never seen before.

@TSnooker102 @timmer_be I am also seeing results from that tip you shared from Robo , standing far far away and walking into the shot. Does help.

This is typical for me. A lot of hard work and good pots to keep the break alive only to then miss the easiest pot in the break.

That is why @nr147 is so dangerous. He wasn’t at his supreme best today, but he can be a “matchplay monster” in close matches. Experience, composure, technique and tactics combine to make an elite performer. And yes, I am trying to coin “matchplay monster” as a #snooker term 😁

@TSnooker102 @timmer_be Possible but be patient , you seem to have talent. Still young , soon enough you will make tons, if you haven't already. Once you make one , then 80s and 90s come easily.

@askbob147 @timmer_be I played for several reds almost every shot and didn't play for black because the pot would have been too difficult.

@TSnooker102 @timmer_be you could have played for multiple reds or gone down for the black a few times but you decided to play baulk colours.

Others seem to get more praise, but I think Joe Perry is by far the best player turned commentator of the last decade.#snooker

Whatever way you look at it this years World Snooker Championship at Crucible in a couple of weeks time is the most open i can ever remember , you could probably make a good case for at least 10-12 players #tourchampionshipsnooker

Gutted for the Magician, but we shall see you in Sheffield, Shaun 🫡 Tense stuff all round, but Judd did well to get over the line. Knowing this sport, it could easily be the first of god knows how many deciding-frame victories for the world number one now. #TourChampionship
