@cenkuygur @ShawnRyan762 @ShawnRyanShow The Oligarchy exercises extrajudicial and extraelectoral control over societies via the DEEPSTATE which is a nexus between economic elites, intel agencies and organized crime syndicates. It ain’t just thru lobbying/donations. That’s a part of the carrot and none of the stick.

@ShawnRyan762 @ShawnRyanShow That's why they always betray us. Because they're literally paid to betray us. Whether it's the Epstein class, foreign governments like Israel or Big Pharma, the job of the politicians bought off by these lobbies is to fuck us on their behalf. Yes there absolutely was a sweetheart deal. You think you know this case but you don't. He was given a reduced charge, allowed to leave the jail for most of the day, etc. You must not really be as familiar with the case as you pretend to be. @mtracey is not a serious person anymore.
Michael Tracey@mtracey

There was no "sweetheart deal." Another myth. Over a year of incarceration, including time in solitary confinement, lifetime registration as a sex offender, and requirement to pay civil damages + attorney fees for government-designated "victims" is not a "sweetheart deal"

Epstein had teams of people working around the clock to make sure he had jerky whenever he needed it. Like... there is a sense of genuine concern over the potential lack of jerky Epstein might experience if communication isn't tight. Because that's so normal.

I don't think even Chomsky would say that anyone who is friends with him should "wholeheartedly" endorse whatever he did, no matter our views of it. He often said the opposite. He had no problem criticizing specific views of mine, nor did I. The one time I talked about this Epstein/Chomsky matter, it was to say that I was mostly baffled why Chomsky would develop such a close relationship with someone like Epstein. I now feel like I understand better why this happened, as I said. I don't think it remotely makes Chomsky a likely pedophile or someone sympathetic to sex crimes, nor does it make him someone whose entire life and work should declared cancelled by this: as many on the left, predictably, are insisting. Nor do I think it is much beyond an error of judgment that all humans, at some point, make. And it has to be weighed against the far more significant value not only of his work but also his exemplary behavior and treatment of others for the many decades of his public life. But Chomsky himself long argued that people shouldn't have "heroes" whom they place beyond the realm of criticism, and I don't think such a standard should be invoked on his behalf.

@FiorellaIsabelM Btw if you’re going to simultaneously declare Chomsky to be “controlled opposition” while also stating that “people complex and things aren’t always black and white” i think you gotta pick a lane. Declaring someone to be controlled opposition sounds pretty black or white.

While attaining credibility for doing the most basic, human thing for Palestine, he ran in the same circles of Zionists like Epstein who wanted to overthrow Syria, Iran and Russia among others. The same people who wanted to destroy Gaza and have done so. He knew who Epstein was and his affiliations with Zionism; how he wouldn’t have known about his Mossad ties? Was he an idiot? No. More likely an opportunist. I understand and agree people are complex and things aren’t always black and white. But to suggest he was some sort of revolutionary is false. To the people of West Asia and the actual revolutionary bastions in the south, he was but a western figure used as controlled opposition, and propped up as genius for a basic understanding of socdem liberalism. He appealed mostly to the liberal left intellectual class, out of touch with reality outside of western centric politics. To use his contributions as an excuse to overlook many of his moral failures is a moral failure in itself.

See we agree. Israel is but a stepping stone to more wealth and not the end goal in itself. If Israel became more costly than its potential economic benefit would they defend it? It has nothing to do with race for them. Race is just a convenient vehicle for them. Race is too large a grouping to appeal to them. Who do you think they respect more a poor white man or Israeli versus a Chinese billionaire who can open up the Asian money pool to them? We are in agreement, Israel is not the goal but merely a stepping stone to the goal of more wealth and control, the day it ceases to be that stepping stone it will be abandoned too. Just like America is an important market and capital source but if it stippped being that they would simply move on.

Zionism is still belief in a Jewish state and its supreme right to exist. It’s not organic just like American nationalism is not organic among the ultra wealthy. They simply pretend that’s the goal because having you attack the people of Israel is not a threat to them just like Muslim Arabs disliking America is not a threat to them. They would never die on 9/11, by default they would know beforehand of even the possibility of attack. A turn against Israel while regrettable is not ending for them. Another country and another people can always become the moral shield and rallying point. When push comes to shove they’d pick capital and profit over Israel any day. Because at the end of the day money is power and only money counts. If it really came down to it how many billionaires do you think would give up their fortunes by choice to keep Israel or Zionism afloat?. What do they have in common with the average Israeli? They don’t go to the same places or even see each other really. Wealth is transnational now and for people obsessed with wealth any flag can fall if it means retaining wealth. That’s why China is in a constant paranoid purge of its billionaires. They understand that loyalty to flag over wealth is a farce. I mean Coca-Cola literally invented Fanta because it was still manufacturing soda in Germany and because of blockades they switched to fruit scraps to make soda. Money doesn’t care for flags and the truth is the Israeli flag is a useful cover, this poor downtrodden people massacred in WW2 who must be protected provided a really good vehicle of moral pressure that capital by itself cannot have. Why would you feel sorry for a billionaire?

@OnatheDon1 @IanCarrollShow While this is true about the transnational nature of the economic elite, the ideological thread of Zionism unites the power base of the west and its political support supersedes any single state allegiance.

Your takeaway is that it’s Israel? No it’s a group of people whose wealth and power transcends borders and flags. It’s not even a secret. Just look at the WEF and all the people there who represented private equity and venture capital. Israel like America or any other country in the world is basically seen as a vessel for capital and profit. There is no nationalism for the ultra wealthy or powerful only more control.
