So I read Kaibette’s story that she unprivated in response to my fanfiction starring her OC, and my OC, Victor (which you should totally read by the way), and I have some things to say about it. Actually, I’m pretty impressed. Kaibette’s writing skills are definitely a cut above Claude’s. She has a distinctly feminine writing style of capturing subtle little movements and details that really show instead of tell a character and their emotions, and breathe life into a scene. Such writing styles can fall victim to getting too bogged down and wordy at times, but for a slow-burn romance fic like this one, I think it worked to spend more time on the little details. I would be interested to see how a writing style such as this would do in a more action-heavy setting, though. Since that’s basically on the other side of the spectrum from this story. Still, it was a bit much for me at times. I found myself growing bored in some of the drawn out inner monologues. Something to break that up would’ve been nice. Clutch’s and Kaibette’s dynamic was interesting. Does remind me a lot of her and Victor, how he uses harsh and strict control over her life as a way to instill discipline, and mold her into what he wants her to be, while also kinda having tender moments of genuine care. Of course Clutch is also doing it for more forceful, vengeful reasons, given Kaibette’s indebted to him, whereas Victor just finds her and saves her from drowning. Clutch clearly finds himself conflicted, catching feelings for Kaibette despite knowing better. I’m glad my fic kind of reflected that dynamic. Still, Clutch is quite a bit less *refined* than Victor. Victor has a classy, more calculated and manipulative way of carrying himself and controlling Kaibette, whilst Clutch seems to be a lot more brute force in his approach. And speaking of Clutch, I was pleasantly surprised at how he was written. Men’s inner monologue and thought process can be complex, and downright alien to a lot of women, and that’s often reflected in how female authors, *especially* rape fantasy romance writers that this one, write men—namely, as one-dimensional savages—. Kaibette did a decent job here, though. Far from perfect, but I can tell she had a good understanding of Clutch’s character and how a man like him would think, even if it’s very idealistic. He self-reflects and has inner turmoils, which is more than I’d expect. Also, with Kaibette’s writing specifically, I was pleased to see that my interpretation of her lined up pretty well with her canon counterpart. She’s undoubtedly defiant and snippy in this fic, as was Kaibette at the start of my fic, before she’d been properly trained. But she also has a softer side that can be drawn out with enough work, and carefully-placed tender moments. Of course, given I had limited info to work with, and my work was heavily AI-assisted, Claude and I didn’t pick up on Kaibette’s subtle little ticks and cues and well as her creator did, go figure. Still, I think I got the general idea down. There’s also that reoccurring theme of implied acceptance. Kaibette *could* leave or deceive or even destroy Clutch at some point, but chooses not to. It’s that “dubious consent” that makes stories like this interesting, and says a lot about female psychology and the abolition of romance in the modern world. It’s something I tried put in my own work as well. Overall, I’ll give it a 7/10. For what basically amounts to “female rape fantasy romance”, it did its job. I think it dragged in some places, but it was entertaining, and actually kind of funny to see how Kaibette and Clutch’s dynamic rhymed with her and Victor’s, in a way.

TL;DR 10% of boy who want their cock & balls cut off are suicidal, but afterwards 60% are. 21% of girls who want a piece of their colon made into a smelly cock are suicidal, but after the operation 55% are. Gosh who knew?
