Genius 🔽, the troll who responded below asked me to define communism then blocked me. As the image below shows from Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. It is a system where production means nothing. Everyone makes the same wages. Both communism and socialism share the same fatal economic flaw, they assume humans will be motivated to work, just for works sake. That is not how human motivation works. For example, if you have to farmers, A & B. In one season, Farmer A produces 100 bushels of wheat, farmer B produces 50 bushels. At the end of that season communists take over. They say you need $10,000 to live so pay both A & B $10,000 a piece. Farmer A looks at what farmer B got and says, "I busted my ass, I was up late at night and got up early. And I made the same as farmer B?" So he decides in the next year he doesn't need to work as hard and he produces 50 bushels, where Farmer B says, hey I didn't produce as much as Farmer A and I still got paid the same so he decides to produce 10 bushels. This is the reason, in EVERY country that has tried communism, there has been mass starvation. Socialism in general can't work. If you boil it down you realize how stupid the idea is. If you have only 5 people in the world and they all sit around and vote themselves $1 million, do they eat? Do they have nice houses? How long would 5 people live in this world if they all decided they didn't have to do anything?
