Anybody remember the "Arafat Papers?" Hard copy documents seized from Arafat's compound proving he launched the Second Intifada and personally funded/directed terrorism right after he turned down a Palestinian state with E Jerusalem as its capital at Camp David 2000 & Taba 2001. These are not Israeli claims. These are original Palestinian Authority documents, many of which (including the one below) bear Arafat’s personal signature or handwritten notes. One document shows Arafat personally approving payments to known terrorists and members of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades (Fatah’s own terror arm). Another requests money for “wanted” operatives on Israel’s list; Arafat personally approved it. One more shows direct PA funding for weapons and explosives used in attacks against Israeli civilians. The documents are damning - one after another. The world was told Arafat was a “peace partner." He was even given a Nobel Prize! And yet, when real peace and an independent state was offered, he turned it down and began signing off on terror salaries from PA coffers - money which, by the way, came in no small part from the international aid provided by your tax dollars!
