We understand perfectly that our country is 36 TRILLION in debt and Canada helps put us there with 200 Bullion a year in tariffs plus the cost of our military which you do not budget or provide for in your country because you “expect” us to protect you. Instead of being an ally and asking how you can help you’re furious that your annual stipend will not be the same this year. You voted continuously for a government that has done nothing but rob Canadian citizens of their net worth. Save you outrage for Trudeau.

Texting with an American player who asked to remain anonymous. I asked how he felt about the US anthem being booed. "Don't love it. Makes you kind of cringe to see that." I then asked what he thought of the continued threats of annexation and the President calling the Canadian PM "Governor" "Yeah, when you look it at from that side, I wouldn't like another country threatening to swallow up mine (country). it’s an exaggeration and to make a point, but indirectly it’s not fair off….the U.S. and Canada trade extensively, and it’s not a direct subsidy. however, certain trade agreements and policies create an uneven playing field where Canada benefits more in some areas, whether through U.S. defense spending, preferential trade access, or energy pricing dynamics. just like a buddy who never buys beers but enjoys the game, a lopsided arrangement over time makes the other party rethink the deal.
