@JasonKPargin This looks shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

The funny thing here is, if we take you at your word, you’re basing your criticism on *your* objectively wrong *subjective* opinion about what is an objectively wrong understanding that could be corrected by not hallucinating when watching the video. This tells more about you than Vance.

These people are incapable of not lying about this. "Side window"? You can see the photos of the car with bullet holes. The shots came from the front of the car because that's where the officer was standing when he was hit by the car. He is allowed to discharge his weapon in self defense.
Ryan Grim@ryangrim

Ok this is genuinely psychotic. Innocent? He shot an unarmed woman twice through a side window and then called her a “fuckin’ bitch,” let her bleed out, and fled the scene.

Another way to look at this: Kamala Harris won more votes than any Dem presidential candidate, ever, in NV, NC, GA and WI... but Donald Trump won more than any candidate of either party, every, in those four states.

@m_ashcroft @NickADobos Caffeine definitely scatters me where ADHD meds provide a similar energy, but with focus. But I've also become sensitive to stimulants, so I haven't been able to use ADHD meds much. I'm still trying to find a happy place.

@NickADobos interestingly caffeine and nicotine both have have the exact opposite effect on me, just making me more scattered or, maybe they just get me hyper-focused on something that distracts from that too-many-options tension, I should pay attention to that

okay this is the video that convinced me that I probably have ADHD I got stuck for a long time because people describe ADHD as 'lots of thoughts at once' — but I don't have lots of thoughts at once what I do have is lots of 'nonverbal impulses to action', as described here
Michael Ashcroft@m_ashcroft

@Karaminder @adhdjesse okay this YouTube Short (because of course I watch YouTube Shorts) perfectly describes what it’s like in my brain guess it’s finally time to get an ADHD assessment (watch me not do it) youtube.com/shorts/Hu_dj8a…

Hey just a reminder: If you want your favorite accounts to get off Twitter, you have to follow them somewhere else first. The sad reality of modern media is that a lot of creatives are contractually obligated to keep their most influential social media accounts. Unrelated pic.

The second thing that jumps out is that, in the states where Harris and Trump campaigned the hardest, Harris overperformed. And she overperformed in Wisconsin most of all.

Thanks to tens of thousands of heroes—our candidates, the campaign, party infrastructure, allies, and volunteers—we persuaded and turned out even more voters for Harris than we did for Biden in 2020. We lost Wisconsin by just 0.9%—the smallest margin of any state in America.

“You're an interesting species. An interesting mix. You're capable of such beautiful dreams, and such horrible nightmares. You feel so lost, so cut off, so alone, only you're not. See, in all our searching, the only thing we've found that makes the emptiness bearable, is each other.” Happy birthday, Carl Sagan ⭐️

Just to clarify: this isn’t just the first time since WW2 that all incumbent parties in developed countries lost vote share. It’s the first time since this data was first recorded in 1905. Essentially the first time in the history of democracy (universal suffrage began in 1894).

@pcasper2 But you’re right, the dems seem to be completely unable to propose anything remotely exciting to most people and didn’t seem willing to put their strongest foot forward despite the importance of this election.

@pcasper2 I think those are good points. And it might have been enough to make a difference. But Biden did a lot of good for the economy, but somehow that got buried and I think a lot of voters know nothing about what’s going on. They just know that prices feel too high right now.

@blobdell Not defending Bernie mind you, I just think that sounds like something a policy wink would say because they greatly overestimate how much the average person knows about policy.
