Catching up on the "hockey trial" in Canada, and Judge Carroccia is not coming off as a serious or credible person. The questions she asked and assumptions she made about the accuser are shocking. The Canadian legal system is a hostile environment for sexual violence survivors.

The amount of people that’d be willing to let Carter Hart back on the team is crazy. Read about what they did. They were found not guilty for a bullshit reason. The verdict wasn’t if they did it or not. It was about if it was consensual or not. You can’t consent while drunk.

When I was 17 I was date raped. I was drunk. He drugged me. I was incapable of consent. I woke up to him telling me to “just let him finish”. I didn’t report because I was an “imperfect victim” Today sets a terrible precedent for women like me and EM and future victims.
