My ex-boss allegedly collected ₦52 million from the Ekiti State Government for me and the tractor operator after we were kidnapped on her farm. But she only gave ₦2 million to my family and ₦2 million to the tractor operator’s family. Tragically, the bandits killed the driver because his family couldn’t meet the ransom they demanded. Meanwhile, my mother struggled and managed to pay ₦17 million just to save my life—and now we are drowning in debt. This pain is too heavy. One life was lost, and another family is left broken and burdened. It’s heartbreaking and deeply unfair. 💔

Everybody likes to talk from the outside until you enter the road. I’m a keke rider myself, and with experience… no, it’s not that easy. This idea of “buy keke ₦5M, make ₦200k daily” sounds sweet online, but reality on ground is very different. I work interstate between Lagos and Ogun (can’t mention exact location for security reasons), so let me break it down small: In Lagos alone: Main ticket: ₦1,300 Money for markers, chairman, security, etc: about ₦1,000 Police/agency money (LASTMA, LNSC, etc): varies, but you must settle or risk paying ₦2k–₦10k for “offence” That’s already money gone before you even start breathing. Now Ogun side: Main ticket: ₦1,700 (₦1,300 weekends) “King of boys”: ₦200 Other random levies: ₦500 Then fuel: ₦12,000 daily at least Passengers? They’ll still price you like fuel is ₦200 per litre. We haven’t even talked about: Repairs (very frequent and expensive now) Feeding and daily survival Weekly hire purchase: ₦60k–₦70k for almost 2 years And let me add this: once a new keke hits 6 months, problems start coming one by one. So when everything is deducted… what exactly is left? This job is not “wake up and print money.” It’s survival, patience, and constant expenses. So no — if someone is still broke, it’s not always laziness or chasing job titles. Sometimes, it’s because the system itself is designed to drain you before you even grow. Respect people on the road. The hustle is deeper than it looks.

This keke (tricycle) is ₦5M Go to a state where nobody knows you. Make ₦200k daily. In 6 months you’ve tripled your money. If you’re still broke, it’s not Nigeria, it’s you. You just want a comfortable job title.

@Teetoh10 You are a reflection of where you work Bcx you tell your HR “seen or thank “ you think it’s alright It’s not okay or alright. You are not doing your staffs a favor by paying their salaries

@Teetoh10 @5nBOI Are you for real So they don’t have anything to do with money You are just a terrible person and human And it shows the kind of boss you are if you expect your staffs to thank you for paying their salaries late.

I had some bank issues, so I ended up paying my staff salaries today. None of them acknowledged or said thank you except my house cleaner. I didn’t even see it as a big deal (especially since I added a lil extra for the inconvenience),one still asked if I had increased her salary

@Teetoh10 You should apologize to them Paying salaries on the 7th of April regardless of whatever issues you had. Do you know the inconvenience you caused them by not paying them as at when due You are a terrible boss if you expect them to thank you. Typical Nigerian boss behavior

If covenant university can't provide common oxygen for a student in case of an emergency then there's no difference in taking your kid to a private uni from a public one. They're building a big auditorium but can't build a safe place for the students 💔 priorities man 💔😩 RIP

Enugu based artist J Splash was arrested in 2020 during the endsars protest & sent to prison for 6 years. He got out, & instead of begging for alms, he went into a restaurant & begged for a job like a broken man Sadly, Nigerians are still in jail because of the endsars protest

Can't get over the fact that they are killing our Christian brothers and sisters in the north and the ones down here are sharing rice and boxes sponsored by this same government in the church. All is definitely not well.
