@dillp671 @alwaysxaaron fisherman’s wharf is cool to do once. cheesecake factory is conveniently located and has a nice view but is not worth it esp since you can have it in any other big city!

i often think about this! it makes me sad that most tourists just go to places like cheesecake factory and fisherman’s wharf ☹️

San Francisco is a city of beautiful neighborhoods, but we only let tourists stay in the CBD (often dead) or Fisherman's Wharf (tacky caricature). If we want to change the narrative, why not let them see what we see? Why aren't there hotels in our vibrant walkable neighborhoods?
