J&K Government has directed the suspension of classwork in 60 schools across the Valley on June 20 to enable preparations for the NEET-2026 re-test scheduled for June 21. I cross-checked this myself. I texted the recruiter introduced myself as a Hindu candidate and was told I was eligible. I then asked about a Muslim friend from Kashmir and the response was blunt. He is not eligible. The irony is hard to miss. They want manpower from J&K, they want to do business and earn from the people of J&K, a Muslim-majority region but when it comes to providing employment, Muslims suddenly become not eligible. If a person’s religion determines whether they can earn a livelihood, this isn’t recruitment, it’s discrimination. No company norms can override the Constitution of India. Excluding citizens because they are Muslims is not policy, it is prejudice. If this is indeed happening under your banner, the country deserves an explanation. @letsblinkit @albinder @deepigoyal are jobs now decided by faith? Can you confirm if it is your policy?
