Summer transfer window this year has probably been on par with the summer of 1988 at #nufc With Gazza Waddle and Beardsley gone we built a new stand and let Willie McFaul buy a 6ft 7 keeper that got lobbed each game at least once, and played long balls bypassing the midfield and our centre forwards who were all 5 feet tall. This year we buy a number 10 who can’t head a ball and who we play in midfield. A number 9 who plays right side who we don’t play. A centre midfielder who we didn’t need and is bang average. A goalkeeper who can’t keep a clean sheet and a right winger who has to be another one of George Weah’s cousins. Thank god we aren’t in a relegation battle…
