Kole North Member of Parliament, Dr. Samuel Opio Acuti, has commissioned two bridges worth Shs79 million to improve connectivity across key routes in the constituency. The bridges span Ayile Swamp, along the road linking Alito and Okwerodot sub-counties to Lira City, and Abongo Nyeko Swamp, which connects Aboke and Alito sub-counties. For years, the swamps have cut off communities from essential services such as hospitals, schools, markets, and transport.
