Better for who, exactly?   Certainly not for the hundreds of thousands of service members, border patrol agents, air-traffic controllers, TSA agents, U.S. Capitol Police officers, and other federal workers going without pay. Not for the entrepreneur who can’t access much needed small business loans. Not for the American travelers facing airport delays across the country.   Only someone so completely out of touch could make such a callous and tone-deaf remark, especially while the government remains shut down, held hostage by the very people now celebrating the crisis they created.
