I’d rather them finish college and hate it with the opportunity to get a good job at 21, 22, 23 then be at that age without any real experience. Trade school requires loans too. The military is a mandatory 4 years. Not many good options.

If you have a specialized path that you know you can achieve through obtaining a college diploma, then fine. But the problem is kids are pushed to go to college without considering other options. It’s not, “should I go to college?” but “where am I going to college?” that kids ask themselves instead, and that’s the problem.

As someone in the academic field, I can attest that conservatives are unfortunately discriminated against. Coming out as conservative makes it harder for you to get accepted in certain schools, advance in your career, get funding for research, etc. Truth is that there is more of a monopoly/oligopoly in academia than people care to admit.
