At Slope, we power embedded capital programs for some of the largest platforms in the world (Amazon, Walmart, Alibaba, IKEA, Samsung) with a team of just 23 people. To support our growth without hiring, we built an AI agents platform from scratch for our risk, CS, and ops teams.

The only reason @slashapp has been successful is because we have exclusively hired retardmaxxers. I think we were doing like 80m in revenue when we first got a CRM. All of us just come to work and code or sell extremely aggressively every day. That's it. Over and over again.

Most people I see moving to SF to “be a founder” seem to be doing so purely for ego and status They don’t realize that raising $1-4M for a stupid idea is quickly becoming low status The average OpenAI employee is clearly higher status than the average YC founder

many people think our "war on bugs" shirts are a reference to nixon's failed "war on drugs" in which drugs famously won. in reality, they are a reference to a philadelphia rock band of the same name, whose 2015 album "a deeper understanding" was one of the best rock albums of the 2010s.

One of the best parts of participating in YC is getting to use all the deals! Highlighting some of the ones we use to ship code that allows users to create their own mystery packs of Pokemon and Sports cards and to daytrade on collectibles. @androo_sy with Polymorph is building personalization infra for developers, starting with notifications, personalized chats, and polymorphing their UX. We use them to identify customer retargeting. @RaeAlisa_ with Lucent (YC W26) watches your PostHog session replays and automatically suggests improvements. We use them to figure frontend bugs @neilbhammar with shortkit (YC W26) is building infrastructure + tooling to let any app add TikTok-style video feeds. We're working with them to get a WhatNot style feed out. Stay tuned! @joe__mcallister with MouseCat (YC W26) is AI-native platform for fraud detection and risk teams. They helped us with a nasty PayPal situation. Here are some additional companies/founders in our batch we found super cool and would likely use in the future @liamwebsterxyz with Lexius (YC W26) turns cameras into security guards. Would have loved to have them before our pop-up store got robbed, but definitely will be incorporating them into our future warehouses. @ericzhang98 with Sponge (YC W26) is building financial infrastructure for the “agent economy”. In a future where agents are daytrading on our Pokemon cards, we'd love to onboard ways for them to pay and arbitrage value. @Selinaliyy with Bubble Lab (YC W26) is building AI-native, open-source workflow automation platform for developers and ops teams. As we scale, this would become increasingly necessary to save time! @realtimchung with Unifold (YC W26) builds multi-chain crypto deposit and payment infrastructure. We're planning to onboard soon to allow our users a seamless deposit pathway. @skyler_chan_ with GRU Space (YC W26) is building a hotel on the moon. We'll allow our collectors to rip pokemon packs on the moon.

YC Demo Day for W26 is in full swing The craziest stat: 3X more companies in this batch reached $1M annualized revenue than W25 Also crazy: the fastest revenue growth rate of YC history at 14% week on week growth *on average* across the whole set of nearly 200 startups

This pains me to say but there’s a mass founder exodus from NYC to SF right now. These founders, all AI focused, believe everything is going to be easier out there - fundraising, hiring, scaling👋🏼

Asimov (@tryasimov) pays households and businesses worldwide to record their daily routines, generating thousands of hours a day of diverse human movement data to train humanoid robots. They've built a global network, along with the full stack, from proprietary collection hardware to annotation tooling, and are already providing data to the largest robotics companies in the world. Congrats on the launch, @lyemningthou and Anshul! ycombinator.com/launches/PeH-a…

🌕@GRU_Space built the world's first Moon factory in just 6 weeks—patent-pending hardware turning lunar dirt into bricks and inflates habitats on the Moon. It's landing as early as next year to lay the foundation for lunar hotels and base infra. Congrats on the launch, @skyler_chan_! ycombinator.com/launches/Pfb-g…

Very excited for the launch of @hlabs_. Sourcing quality, US-made robot parts is a challenge (nigh impossible) for many exciting robotics projects today. @paulcjh_ has the answer.
Y Combinator@ycombinator

HLabs (@hlabs_) is making plug-and-play electronics and actuators for robots domestically in the USA. These products abstract away all of the complexity in designing and controlling a robot's electronics. Congrats on the launch, @paulcjh_! ycombinator.com/launches/PfW-h…

Well deserved @MaxJunestrand , Sigge, Jake and every single Legora team member. At @ycombinator we are in awe of what you are building — making the world a better place for founders, companies and lawyers. $550M at $5.55B. Valuation tripled in 5 months. 800 law firms and counting. And made in Sweden ❤️
Max Junestrand@MaxJunestrand

Big day at @WeAreLegora! We have raised $550 million at a $5.55 billion valuation in a Series D funding round, led by @Accel, to accelerate expansion across the United States. To all our customers and partners, this celebration is as much yours as it is ours.

Occasionally Silicon Valley feels like you're in a movie about Silicon Valley. Last night at dinner we actually heard someone ask the guy across from him "How are you leveraging AI?"
