@sarfrazmanzoor Yeah, the algorithm figured out my work was connected to the culture wars and now it feeds me a toxic diet of the worse of humanity and I can’t really look at this app any more.

August 11 2011 and 2024. My daughter Laila turns 13 today. Yes I know having twin T shirts is irredeemably cheesy but it's what she wanted.

The garden’s having a bit of a lull at the moment between tulips and peonies but the rhododendrons, azaleas and aquilegia are lovely this year

So much to love about this interview with Jonny Greenwood by John Lewis in @guardian. Two great music enthusiasts (and lovely people) clearly recognising something of their own passions in each other and relaxing into a great conversation. theguardian.com/music/article/…

Two questions please amazing Twitter heritage people... 1) What heritage days out exist for a family to immerse themselves in women's history? There are plenty of places with a strand of their story about a historical woman, but is there anywhere where is it the main story?

@bramblescram Then there’s Hever down here which is Anne Boleyn-tastic and Hatfield for Elizabeth I. But there are many more sites where the main character is male.

@AileenPeirce Thanks @AileenPeirce - my instinct and googling so far suggest there are very few...would you agree? Even in the NT following the work to amplify women's voices in 2018/9, they are still an add-on or a sub-story.

@bramblescram Marble Hill - all about Henrietta Howard and a great family visit. It’s not a whole day out but plenty else to see in the area.

Same people crying over Lee Anderson’s opinions were very quiet when Humza Yousaf went on a racist tirade against white people. The same bigots who think “coconut” is okay and chants for genocide and intifada are acceptable. Why do the left have two-tier outrage for racism? Is it just not okay when a white person says it?
