Outside of Emily Blunt reminding us that she's a great actress, this movie is just missing the special sauce that often comes with Spielberg.
Love the premise, but left the theater underwhelmed with the final result.

Steven Spielberg 's Disclosure Day movie Review : 👽🎬 The first thing is that the movie is not about alien invasion. This movie is about a research or secret program that is done on the aliens and it's used as espionage like . The movie is not like Steven Spielberg 's previous movies war of the worlds Or the close encounters . My concern with the movie is that you did not connect with characters like you did other sci-fi Alien 👽 movies . And you will feel that this movie left you unconvinced or not give you an answer what it is about . That's my POV - TELL me WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE movie . I’ve never seen such wildly different views of the movie as I have for Disclosure Day.
A common theme is that the people that don’t like it say it MUST be a prep for what Spielberg knows is coming because it was super boring and seems to have a goal other than entertainment.

@thecalibae Do you understand that everything that is happening in this movie is actually happening in real life with the government and its contractors covering up extraterrestrial knowledge? I think the main thing that this movie is trying to do is acclimate the masses to this truth.

Just got done!!! SPOILER WARNING ⚠️ - Disclosure Day is a rooooough watch in a cat and mouse game that last 2 hours plus to a third act than finishes in a sudden instant that leaves a bad taste in your mouth. This movie wants to sell you that the whole world will change once people find out aliens are real but they crammed that concept in like 10 minutes at the end of the film. The film should have started with the ending. The aliens looked cool but it was irrelevant 🤷🏻♂️. One and done for me and I give it 1🔥/5 . It was weird how bad the acting was also in the first act. I’m curious to hear other people’s thoughts but I didn’t like it at all. Also this movie could of been about X-Men mutant saga at points 😂

I finally watched Spielberg’s Disclosure Day yesterday. To say it’s the culmination of 50 years of interest in the subject is an understatement. Ever since I was eleven, stood in the branches of a tree looking at what turned out to be a plane’s landing lights, with a sense of wonder coupled with anxiety.
It’s a great movie regardless of your views on the subject, but for me it was a rollercoaster of emotions, from excitement to tears welling up in my eyes. At times I just sat there smiling to myself.
Was its timing a coincidence or part of a bigger plan? Only time will tell.

@mark_k Just got out of it five minutes ago. It was WAY better than they are giving it credit for. Not perfect, by any means, but what film is? It was really good and certainly well worth going to see. It definitely makes you think!

I know people like Wemby but I don’t like him as a player. Think he is an emotional baby and throws a lot of cheap shots. I’m not on the hype train of all that he’s “super competitive” talk. I grew up not liking the Spurs and I’ll continue to do so

These are reusable swim diapers but I absolutely love them for the fact that they are basically like shorts and prevent my toddler girl’s swimsuit from riding up their back or their front and keep them modest. There are creeps at the pool and these keeps them safe and comfortable. Cuz no one likes a swimsuit wedgie anyways.
