@amorriscode I need to give each claude a whole separate env to run tests, local dev env, etc. Worktree is not enough.

I was looking into worktree usage for claude code desktop. A surprising amount of you folks don't use worktress. I wouldn't be able to multi-Claude without them so I'm curious why you don't? How can we make them better or more intuitive for you?

Please, Slack, fix this, I can't rest.

Wow, I totally disagree with this statement. At the current state, AI actually amplifies the developer to developer difference. If you were a 10x developer, you had good ideas + architectural clarity, this is a brutal advantage when using AI. Steering is a fundamental part of today's AI development.

You see Anthropic releasing a "fast mode". At the same time you see Codex slowly doing in 5 minutes something that Claude Code rushed for 2 hours trying to get done. Speed is very relative.

Hm. So far, codex 5.3 seems worse than 5.2. Seems to lose context faster, and make worse decisions.

@SandyofCthulhu Pour water into it, turning the whipped cream to runny. Now the teammate in the pit can swim out.

One of the most lethal traps I ever used was this. The problem was when the player fell into the pit, he couldn't see anything because whipped cream is opaque. The other players also couldn't see him. When they tried to lower ropes, the ropes floated on the whipped cream and he couldn't reach them. They eventually attached a weight the rope so it would sink in the cream, but when they did he still couldn't see it and had to grope for it. They also couldn't hear him talking, and eventually he just expired with no oxygen and the whole time I sat there innocently. You might say I was too mean, but I can think of at least three ways they could have gotten him out of the pit. Can you think of one?

I hesitate to point this out ... but if California were smart they wouldn't add a tax for billionaire residents -- they would charge a huge tax on landing gulfstreams in California. Way more aligned and effective.

@benhylak worktrees share a git database. So uses less disk, faster to create. Noticeable if you have a large git repo.

California voters love to vote yes for taxes. So the strategy against the wealth tax should be to start a new competing initiative, right? 1. Introduce a tax to treat loans as realizing gains. 2. If it gets more votes than the wealth tax, the wealth tax is void.

Can everyone please stop using wispr flow superwhisper and whatever subscription app for your Mac please! Offline local models are now better than the ones they're charging you for. Use something like "spokenly" with Nvidia parakeet models and thank me later
