This is the Education Secretary who taxed working parents paying for their disabled children to attend a special school. Purely because she was ideologically opposed to parents who want to spend money on their children’s education. That’s what we don’t like.

🚨 KEMI BADENOCH RUTHLESSLY GOES IN ON “TREACHEROUS” ED MILIBAND! 🔥 Kemi Badenoch just took the gloves off in PMQs and absolutely eviscerated Ed Miliband in one of the most savage takedowns you’ll see this year. “He was a failed Labour leader, rejected by the electorate, brought back from the wilderness by this man… and when the going got tough he jumped into bed with the mayor of Manchester. It’s not the first time he’s betrayed someone close to him, is it?” Oof. That last line was a dagger. The clear dig? Ed Miliband’s infamous 2010 leadership battle where he stabbed his own brother David in the back, beating him to the Labour crown in a bitter contest that famously tore the Miliband family apart. David never forgave him, and the betrayal became political legend. Good stuff from Badenoch. To be fair, she’s been pretty strong during PMQs recently.

If a General Election was called today I’m voting Conservatives. They are far from perfect and do I agree with all Kemi says, absolutely not, but looking at the other parties and leaders right now, she seems to be the most sensible, professional, strong, firm and intelligent option. Drama and corruption doesn’t surround her and she’s really come into her own of late, but let’s wait and see, we know a lot can happen in a single week in politics.

Lara Bird, Scotland's newest SNP sanctimony. More Gaza less Glasgow. Full name: Pyla Lara Bird-Leakey. Oooh, lara-dee-dah! She'll lecture you all day about sovereign Scotland and the wickedness of Westminster. With an accent about as authentic as a hairline on a flight back from Turkey. Schooling? English. Law degrees? London, the lot. LSE for the masters, a King's doctorate binned the second a £98k MP salary turned up, the Bar at Middle Temple. Not one Scottish institution got a look in. The accent? She's admitted the plummy English vowels "stuck" after years living down south. Yet plant her at the despatch box and out comes a wee Scottish lilt that sounds knocked together from a dodgy panto. English schooling, English voice, English law. All of it pointed at one idea: that England is the problem. The accent's flexible. The principles are gymnastics!
