@poorlypencil13 ah okay now I understand! it works similar to CoD. every time you shoot a weapon a hitscan is cast from the camera in it's forward direction (with gun- and movement dependent spread). EFT's way of doing it would be cool but too realistic for the movement in this game I think

@bushsoftware Projectile spread. I was curious if it works like tarkovs in the sense the projectile is made within the actual gun model and behaves like a real gun (pinpoint point shooting/hipfire and not whatever cod has where it sprays everywhere)

@poorlypencil13 player projectiles will almost always be hitscan without dropoff (unless I add a rocket launcher or something, then it will be a physical projectile), and enemies shoot physical projectiles

@CaptainMarooner thank you! there is a small speed boost when starting a slide (7.5u/s -> 9u/s), but this is largely just to counter-act the initial friction of the slide

@bushsoftware Looks awesome! But will this be one of those games where you slide and your character magically accelerates by 50mph during the slide? It's probably my biggest pet peeve in FPS games alongside "dashes" and that stuff is in every fps game now.

@bushsoftware And also to add this comment, are these mannequins going to be turning into full fledged characters or is that the concept of the game is to include mannequins for some parts of the game? Silly question but I was just curious about that as well!

@bushsoftware Dude this looks amazing! I haven’t posted in a while to comment on people’s games, but I am really intrigued about this! I have to ask though, when this game is much further in development, do you plan on bringing this steam? Anyways looks sick and is on my radar! :))
