277 (Over 20k ADA spent) That's the number of @Phoenix_Arena_ I have minted or purchased over the past year +. I believed in the vision that @Apex_333 laid out for me and believed the team was building something special. I encouraged many of my Web3 friends to join and support this project. Fast forward to today and all I can say to all who I encouraged to join is, I'M SORRY. As a business owner of over a decade in the Web 2 world and now a founder of @weirdoz_nft and Project lead over at @ZombieChains and founder of Hoarder's Collections, I understand how hard running a business is and understand the difficulty that comes along with it. When a community puts their trust in you and invests not only their hard earned money but also their time, you have to reciprocate. It's too easy to just fold up shop in the NFT world. Not only fold up but then go and start something new. It's not fair to collectors. Project owners.... failures happen all the time. It's how you face those failures and communicate those failures that tells me the most about you. Those who hide from the failures and deny any responsibility are going to be hard to trust going forward. So what do we do now? How do we avoid falling into the same traps over and over again and allow these founders to continue to extract ADA from the community while other hard working projects suffer but don't give up? For Founders 1- Starting a business is a big deal. Don't start one if you don't plan on finishing the job. 2- Set realistic goals and expectations and have a plan to execute. This one is huge because founders love promising the world. If they just executed one thing well, they could build a foundation and expand from there. 3- DON'T FUCKING QUIT! Finish what you started. Stop blaming your circumstances for your lack of sticktuitiveness. Freaking man or woman up and work your ass off for the community that believes in you. For investors/collectors 1- Fully understand what the project is planning to build before investing. Building games is hard...Look for proof of concept before investing. 2- Research the team thoroughly. The space has been around long enough to have a track record to go off of. If the founder or team member has quit once, there is a good chance it'll happen again. This is a sad day for the PA community. I am heart broken for you all and frustrated that I invested so much time and money into this project. I hope that founders from other projects support those of the community who are left holding these bags and my wish is that collectors stop believing hype and begin researching and investing in proven teams. Love you all and feel free to reach out to me if you all need someone to chat with. I am always willing to chat and provide my insight from my experience. This is going to be a tough lesson for me but I will learn from it and work to not allow it to happen again.

@Whatnot Did you actually talk to sellers before doing this or did you just in-house this decision? There are better ways to get what you’re going for including: 1) actually investing in the software 2) improving trust and safety 3) not strapping sellers with 13% fees Swing and a miss

Hey @Whatnot now that you’re banning bounties are you gonna lower your fees so sellers can stay competitive? You won’t answer this but I’ll try anyway.

.@Whatnot this “evidence submission” form for the blakesbreaks stuff makes no sense. How are we supposed to know when we were/weren’t scammed? Any bounty hunt or energy game needs to be considered tainted after all the evidence. Refund every penny.

This isn’t enough. To the tune of millions of dollars. Every single dollar spent with Blake needs to be returned. You’re making people fill out evidence forms to try and prove something that was expertly hidden from them.

@Whatnot You definitely did not refund all buyer because the scam is so pervaisive that it essentially happened on every stream to some degree.
