BREAKING: Former NBA/G-League guard Ta’Quan Zimmerman started his own prep boarding high school called ‘The Bright School,’ a partner of the Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut. Zimmerman, who is an alum & Hall of Famer at the school, who also holds the single season scoring average record at 27 PPG, created ‘The Bright School’ to give student athletes the same academic & athletic blueprint he learned there to become successful & obtain scholarships. Putnam Science Academy is an esteemed basketball program that has won 4 of the last 7 national prep basketball championships & has sent 130 Division I athletes to college over the last 7 years. ‘The Bright School’ is currently open for enrollment from grades 9-12, even including post grad.
