Chuck was not born in Texas but he was associated with Texas and certainly had many traces of the Lone Star state, including his long-running role in Walker, Texas Ranger, his 1,000-acre ranch near Navasota and other business interests in Texas, being named an honorary Texan and an honorary Texas Ranger by Gov.
