There's obviously been some criticism of Jedd Fisch for running up the score Saturday.
Asked him today if he thought about shutting it down on the final drive Saturday vs WSU:
"Denzel had 97 yards receiving. I wanted to get him to 100. Jonah had 95 yards receiving. Those are cool things for the kids to get to 100 each. We ended up having a third down and the corner route popped open.. I don't think any of us expected that and it turned into a 59 yard gain...These kids deserve it, when you have a chance to get to 100 yards in Apple Cup...We're going to do everything we can."
In the era of NIL and constant player recruitment, nothing matters more than taking care of the kids. And Jedd knows that.

Oregon players are outright saying that their goal is to injure Michael Penix. When asked about this weekend, Brandon Dorlus said his goal was to "Take out Michael Penix (Jr.)." He then smiled and celebrated the idea that Oregon may have hurt Penix the last time they played. He went on to talk about how Lupoi told their defense that Penix was a "standard (not anything special)" QB when you force him off his spot. And that he's only dangerous from the pocket.
