This is huge news for the AHI victim community, analytic integrity, and for the American people. These flawed, fraudulent, and manufactured Intelligence Community Assessments (ICA) have caused significant harm to some of our nation’s bravest. ICAs carry a great deal of weight, particularly when declassified as part of a public messaging effort, as was done with the AHI ICA. The assessment was deliberately manufactured and used to discredit some of our nation’s bravest and impede their access to medical care. As was the case with other high-visibility intelligence assessments, it fell far short of analytic integrity standards. Today’s action by @DNIGabbard is a glimmer of hope for our nation’s intelligence officers, service members, and diplomats stationed around the world who have defended this country in austere locations and subsequently had the nation they served turn its back on them. Thank you to Director Gabbard for keeping her commitment to this Committee and me, and for her overall willingness to do the right thing. I am incredibly grateful.

Keep in mind this move is only possible because Tulsi Gabbard previously took the National Intelligence Council (NIC) out of the CIA silo and put it under the direction of the ODNI.👌

I had to check three times to make sure this was a real account and not some elaborate parody. European soccer authorities have appointed a rabid antisemite with reported terror ties to referee a major European match between Aston Villa, a club that banned Jews from a recent game, and PSG, which is hardly unfamiliar with controversy itself. The match is being played in Austria, of all places. At this point it sounds less like a sporting event and more like a dark comedy sketch designed to see how many historical and political landmines can be packed into a single event. The truly astonishing part is that Europe's governing class has become so consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome that it seems incapable of recognizing reality even when it is staring them in the face. Apparently antisemitism, extremism, and basic standards are all secondary concerns, provided the right people are being defied and the right political tribe is being pleased. Vance Boelter took a plea deal for the murder of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark Hortman, as well as shooting Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette Hoffman, and attempting to shoot their daughter, Hope Hoffman. The plea deal includes Boelter serving 2 life sentences and 40 years on top of that in exchange for the government not seeking the death penalty. Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche approved the plea deal and noted that prosecutors will take the death penalty off the table. "Those that would commit political violence at any level should take heed. That the Department of Justice will seek and obtain the longest prison terms available for your crimes."
