Our crew on the @Space_Station caught a glimpse of the @NASAArtemis II crew as they re-entered the atmosphere from their journey to the Moon! We first saw a bright light and a trail as the service module burned up. We didn’t see the Orion capsule itself as it re-entered, but we saw the wispy trail it left behind in the upper atmosphere. Overjoyed that our friends are safely back on Earth after their awe-inspiring mission!
A very special visitor came to Ames — the designer of the Artemis II Moon mascot, “Rise.”
We welcomed Lucas Ye and his family, who joined us as we watched the Artemis II crew return back to Earth after successfully flying around the Moon.
His zero gravity indicator was selected from thousands of submissions from over 50 countries. His design was inspired by the iconic Earthrise moment from the Apollo 8 mission.
Congratulations again to Lucas!
We can achieve great things when we work together.
The Artemis II recovery team includes specialists from the U.S. military alongside engineers and technicians from NASA and Lockheed Martin.
Katherine Johnson was a mathematician at NASA whose precise calculations of orbital mechanics were essential to the success of the first and later U.S. crewed space missions.

🚨 IT’S OFFICIAL: Minnesota impeachment hearings for Gov. Tim Walz are starting NEXT WEEK 🔥
GOOD! Tim has betrayed his own people by letting Somalis pillage the entire state.
He should resign in disgrace!

Robert is scheduled to be buried at Jefferson Barracks on April 17th at 1230pm.
If anyone would like to attend, please arrive at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery main entrance by 1215pm on April 17th.
We will be escorted to a shelter by a JB representative where he will be laid to rest with full military honors.
Robert’s remains will already be at the cemetery, so there will be no procession from a funeral home to the gravesite. Thanks in advance to all who can make it."

Fist bump! 👊
The Artemis II crew is now under 35,000 miles from Earth. The astronauts are preparing the spacecraft for reentry and the weather is looking good for splashdown.
