Last time we were in the championship (23/24) our revenue was 105m, last year in the premier league £185m. Realistically we’re going to have huge financial problems in league 1. We will receive a second parachute payment though. (Luton received £39m this season in the same situation) Our wage bill (staff costs) in 24/25 was £152m. Although it’ll be undoubtedly lower, don’t underestimate how much trouble we’re in here. Here’s last seasons league 1 revenues for scale!
