It is truly absurd that the Spurs are a +14.5 NET team in Wemby’s minutes. That is an all-time dominant number. Their defense performs like one of the very best *ever* when he’s on the court. His impact is extraordinary. One of the very best 3rd-year players ever.

Jamal Crawford says training Wemby was one of his five greatest basketball experiences: “With the way his mind works, it’s almost like he taught me. I can’t honestly say I taught him anything.
