¡Ecuador logra reducir 800 millones de dólares de deuda hasta 2035 para conservar la Amazonía! 🇪🇨👏 El presidente @DanielNoboaOk participó del anunció de la primera conversión de deuda destinada a la conservación de la Amazonía ecuatoriana. Esto permitió refinanciar aproximadamente USD 1.530 millones en bonos globales mediante un crédito de USD 1.000 millones con mejores condiciones, lo que reducirá el servicio de la deuda en más de USD 800 millones hasta 2035. Con esto se generarán beneficios financieros y ambientales, al destinar recursos para el Programa Biocorredor Amazónico (BCA). #ElNuevoEcuadorResuelve

Total external debt of DE&EM countries (w/o China) reached new heights, totalling an overall $6388 billion in 2021, an increase of 64,6% over the last decade. In 2021, out of $2936bn PPG debt, $1320 was owed to private bondholders (45%of the total against 32% in 2011) creditors
