If you attend St. Louis church, there's no way you wouldn't know my two roomies, Ivana and Theresa. Every Saturday evening in our room, their conversations sounded almost the same. "What are you wearing tomorrow?" "Did you buy those new heels?" "That handbag will finish everybody tomorrow!" They laughed. Sunday morning came. The excitement wasn't really about church. It was about the entrance. They knew exactly where to walk. Who would notice. Who would compliment them. Who hadn't seen the new dress yet. They arrived early, but not because they wanted to pray. They wanted enough time for people to see them. After the service, they stood outside taking pictures. Sometimes, I'm the camera woman. One more photo. "Wait, let me hold my bag this way." "Take another one." "Make sure my shoes show." As they scrolled through the pictures, they smiled. "See how everyone kept looking at us?" They would whisper excitedly. An elderly woman quietly walked past us. She had worn the same faded wrapper she had worn for months. No designer bag. No expensive perfume. No polished shoes. She greeted everyone with the same warm smile. She walked into the church, found a quiet seat, and bowed her head. No one noticed when she entered. No one asked where her clothes were from. No one complimented what she wore. But watching her, I couldn't help wondering... I wonder which beauty God noticed first that morning. The one we spent hours putting on ... Or the one she had quietly carried in her heart all along?

@orangebook Kinda true, this might look little but it isn't. It has a way of shaping their entire life. they tiptoe through life not to make a mistake or not to been seen so that you don't judge them like their parents. Only few try so hard to fight it off as they grow....
