OK, let’s settle down now: The US has a long and established history of defending the mentally insane, impaired and challenged. From the outset of this tragedy, I have articulated that the “not competent to stand trial” aspect was never vigorously advanced by the defense. And this is in recognition of the Metcalf family, who indeed, have forgiven Karmelo. It took a reserve of spiritual strength and vigor to do that. In cases such as this, we must look ahead to determine how the next same or similar case will be adjudicated. The Karmelo “team” flubbed this case badly — from the refusal to table a plea deal, to the “profiteering and capitalizing” of Give/Send/Go and other platforms, to personal enrichment, to that pathetic Dominique Alexander, and on and on. This case is not about “race”, for if it was, there would be calls of Whites AND Blacks to re-implement the landmark case of Plessy v. Ferguson. and reverse Brown v. Board of Ed. So, I recommend you become more historically “tethered” prior to proffering another opinion.

This entire situation is pathetic and outrageous. Elsewhere I contributed and compared the situation of “active shooter” occurring in a corporate or public setting, where police advise to “Run, Hide, Fight” when confronted with a mass shooting or similar violent threat. If Karmelo did this, he would be free and Austin would be alive. If Karmelo perceived he was a target of violence (I seriously doubt it) then logic demands he leave the scene. In the triad of measures above, he jumped over the “run, hide” and went directly to “fight.” He brought a bazooka to a spit-ball match. Karmelo’s parents are equally responsible — if nor more-so — for his mindlessness.

As a reminder, there are such things called “juvenile court systems”, “family courts”, and the like, where Juvenile offenders are NOT commingled with adults, and their cases are adjudicated separately.

Karmelo was no genius, nor a child prodigy, he was unfortunately raised by racists, who taught him to hate whites from a young age. he is a product of his environment. just like nearly all the black men sitting in prison for murder and why 50% of all murders in the US are committed by black men! Ted Kaczynski was a Psychopath emotionally cold and calculating. Karmelo is closer to a sociopath made by his environment, manifesting impulsive and erratic behavior. crying only when faced with having to pay the price for his actions. but having little to no remorse for the life he has taken! altho I do not believe that he is a true Sociopath, as this may be the first time he has acted on his emotions. and he did manage to maintain a good grade point average, and not get into fights at school, and he wasn't exactly a antisocial personality. he was more like someone trying to gain notoriety and the acceptance of his peers. He likly believed that he could gain some street cred by stabbing a white boy, but didn't believe that a single stab wound kill him! but clearly he has not considered the consequences of such an action or he believed that by provoking the white boy to attack him he could claim self defence!
